Ahhh this yummy golden elixir, aka Golden Latte is not only delicious, it is so nutritious as well. The turmeric is a common Indian spice that I grew up with it in my mom’s cuisine. It has so many anti-inflammatory properties, can help fight depression, fights viruses such as the flu, eases PMS, and much more! This latte is super easy and quick to make. It tastes wildly delicious too!
Recipe:
1 cup non-dairy milk
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
pinch cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1 tsp coconut oil melted
option: 1 shot espresso
Froth the first 5 ingredients in a frother. Once ingredients are warm and blended, add to the coffee mug. Then add fresh ginger, coconut oil, and espresso if using. Sip and enjoy slowly!
